Biography

Maricela Moore is a board-certified labor and employment attorney.  She practices primarily in the areas of employment and business litigation defense.  Before joining the firm, Ms. Moore was a solo plaintiff's employment litigator; and she was formerly a litigation defense associate with Baker & McKenzie LLP.  Maricela is bilingual (English-Spanish) and is a trained mediator.

Ms. Moore is a candidate for judge of the 162nd District Court in Dallas, Texas.  The election will be held in November 2012.

Maricela frequently serves as local counsel to out-of-state firms that do not have a presence in Texas. Maricela also has extensive experience serving as counsel for third parties in securities fraud class action lawsuits, patent infringement lawsuits, and other complex civil litigation. Maricela has a proven record of zealously representing her client’s interests, as well as understanding the sensitive ethical and strategic considerations that are implicated when a third party is brought into litigation.
